This is the most luxurious way to experience the seventh continent in a single day.
The Opportunity – Perfect as an add-on to a safari itinerary or an extended stay in Cape Town at Ellerman House, this is a unique opportunity to visit Antarctica in a day. Flying in a luxuriously appointed Boeing 767, you will fly from Cape Town to the seventh continent for what is arguably one of the most exciting day trips in the world.
The Plane – The Boeing 767 is the ultimate aircraft to connect to Antarctica. With limited seating of only 33 guests, every last detail is attended to as you fly across thousands of icebergs and into 24 hours of sunlight on the seventh continent.
The Day – There are 3 departure dates to choose from. We will spend up to 5 hours on the ice where White Desert’s specialist guides will introduce you to a dramatic vista of ice, spires of rock and pristine horizons. The pilot will offer a scenic flight around the famed Wolf’s Fang peak and the day will culminate with an adventurer’s picnic prepared by White Desert’s resident chefs.
