Our year of 30th anniversary celebrations is now in full swing and our culinary team is hard at work whipping up one spectacular gastronomic experience after another. Hot on the heels of last month’s wildly successful seafood extravaganza, Culinary Director Peter Tempelhoff and Head Chef Kieran Whyte invite you to join them for a very special Japanese-inspired pop-up dinner on Thursday 31 March.
Guests will be welcomed onto the hotel’s magnificent terrace for cocktails and canapés on arrival, and enjoy watching the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean before sitting down to a unique menu of exquisitely handcrafted sushi and yakitori. Chefs Peter and Kieran will guide you through the provenance and concept behind each dish, and explain the carefully-chosen wine pairings from our 9,500-strong private cellar.
This intimate and exclusive event is sure to be a memorable one as we raise a glass to our cliffside grande dame and continue to celebrate the Ellerman House family that makes this enchanting property in the heart of Cape Town a home away from home for our guests.
