Our Champagne Cellar pays homage to the terroir in Epernay, France, where the world’s best Champagne is made.

17. Thomas Bowler passage
Thomas Bowler arrived in South Africa in 1834 and made an important contribution to the country’s pictorial history.

18. Edmund Pink
Thirteen watercolours of the landscape, people and events in the Cape of Good Hope during 1795 – 1847 are exhibited in the stairway leading down to the kitchen.

19. Talita, our Private Art Guide
Our Private Art Guide loves sharing her extensive knowledge of South African art and take guests on tours to some of Cape Town’s favourite art galleries.

20. Our garden
Our garden is a beautiful space where guests can relax next to the pool and be surrounded by some of the most famous species from the Cape Floral Kingdom.

21. Angus Taylor’s ‘Hier’ sculpture
The sculpture outside the Contemporary Art Gallery is one of the many ‘wow’ sculptures and was made especially for that space.
